A good friend and client that shares my love of bodybuilding history sent me a Facebook post by 80’s bodybuilding star Gary Strydom. In it he is discussing some of his thoughts on the politics of competitive bodybuilding. All very interesting but it was his parting sentence that caught my eye.
Gary says;
Remember this: for all those bodybuilders out there young and old......bodybuilding should not be something that shortens your life, it should enhance and extend your life.
A simple truth that so many in the bodybuilding community have forgotten.
